In great contrast to some of our courses built in more tropical settings, Omeya is a true desert jewel – situated on the outskirts of Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, in an area where the annual rainfall is less than most places on earth. This course is set in a stunning residential development, amongst Camel thorn trees and rocky mountains. The course arguably has some of the best greens in this part of the world, and winds its way through the dry landscape, crossing sandy waste areas, dry riverbeds, all under the watchful eye of some of the most iconic trees of southern Africa. A course which will test all the clubs in your bag, especially the 15th club – the space in your head.
After an enjoyable round of golf, relax in the small village square, bistro or spa on the estate, or simply drink in the natural beauty of one of the least populated countries in the south of the continent.
